-It's the 2nd week of the Battle Rounds on The Voice. Let's jump right in... Team Blake: Julio vs.Terisa performing Gloria Estefan's Conga. They both did a great job, but Blake chose Julio who cried like a baby. Then CeeLo stole Terisa and the crowd went nuts. Suzanna vs. Lelia performed, at what appeared to be midnight on the Adam Levine beard clock, The Florence & the Machine The+Voicesong "The Dog Days Are Over". They both did really well, but Blake chose Suzanna and Lelia went home. Team Sagtina/Drooptina (I can't decide which nickname I like better so I'm using them both) was sporting the same great looks last night...in addition to the blue tipped hair at the judges table, she also donned a leopard print t-shirt with fabric that was screaming for relief. Droopy also continued with the biker/wash maid type of look at one point. Who comes up with these outfits? Dez and Paulina performed Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are". I couldn't stand Paulina's sound at all. Dez won and Paulina was sent packing. Dez isn't the greatest, but he's hot, which got him to the next round. Joselyn and Sylvia performed "Best Thing I Never Had" perfectly. Sylvia won, and Blake and Adam both tried to steal Joselyn. Ultimatey Joselyn chose to go with Team Adam. Team Adam: Benji and Sam performed Bon Jovi's "You GIve Love a Bad Name" Sam's moving forward and Benji was sent home. Team CeeLo: Nicholas and Todd performed Hall & Oats "She's Gone". They were both AMAZING. I think Nick kept his eyes clothes for the entire performance, but who cares he was awesome...they both were...so downloading that one! CeeLo kept Nick and Todd went home.

-On Monday night, How I Met Your Mother had its mojo back...well most of it. Since baby Marvin's birth, Marshall and Lily haven't gone out, and have only allowed the gang to bother them with issues that rank an 8 or higher, so basically they didn't have a clue about anything going on with How+i+Met+Your+Mothertheir friends. While Marshall and Lily were out for their first date night in months, they have a near death experience and decided they need to choose a Guardian/Godparent for Marvin. They both don't have any viable family candidates so the gang all vies for the title. But since it started to get out of control, Marshall and Lily have them compete in a "Who Wants to be a Godparent?" game show. Three nit picks...first, there is a big difference between guardian and godparent. One is legal and one isn't. Second, new parents, with no time for friends or sleep, wouldn't be able to pull off a big wheel in their spare time...just saying, and Third, of course we all absolutely knew that Marshall and Lily would give the title to Barney, Ted and Robin.

Ed's back this week with his Dancing with the Stars report...take it Ed...

Paula Abdul was a guest judge tonight and she was fantastic. I'm not sure how or why she got the gig, but one thing is clear – a little Paula can make any show better!

Most couples were kind in the dance styles that they picked for one another – with two exceptions. Gilles and Peta got Bollywood from Bristol and Mark. Apolo and Karina got Hip Hop from Melissa and Tony. Gilles and Peta made the best of it but Karina had so much difficulty wrapping her brain around hip hop that she slipped during her dance and started crying when it was over. Let's keep an eye on pros Karina and Tony as the season progresses. They don't seem to like each other!Dancing with the Stars

Kelly Monaco says DWTS has "nothing to do with dancing". Well apparently is has everything to do with having sex with your partner. This one is a lock folks. Kelly and Val are all over each other. Val is "so blessed to have this partner", as a tear rolls down his check. BARF! The other couple that could be doing it is Gilles and Peta. Sure, his wife is watching from the audience, but there's too much extracurricular touchy feely stuff going on here. Just sayin'….

Shawn and Derek are in a league of their own. Two weeks in a row, they far outdistanced themselves from the competition. Sabrina and Louis' 70's disco makes it clear there's not enough disco on DWTS. Speaking of Disco, Donnie Osmond visits the show tonight. Hopefully Tom will ask him why he's not competing. He should be.

Carrie Ann-in-heat count is up to FIVE thanks to her reactions to Gilles ("Aladdin has nothing on you") and Emmit. Paula gave Emmit the line of the night – "You are a sexy BEAST!".

Handicapping the eliminations… Shawn (39.5) and Gilles (39.5) are on top of the leader board and there's no way they're going home. Expect Melissa (37) to stay. The Sexy BEAST Emmitt (36) is unlikely to be eliminated this early. Sabrina's (35.5) disco was far too feel good to send her packing. Apolo (34.5) is temping but the fans love to vote for people who make mistakes so Karina's slip should keep them here one more week. You know Bristol (32) is staying despite her second-to-last score. That leaves Kirstie (30). I'm thinking her fan base can't save her this time. She's fun, but not as good as the other couples. If it's not Kirstie, than it's Kelly (37.5). Their barf-fest was over the top – maybe fans will tire of it, especially after Val admitted he's comfortable with being eliminated.

-I was thrilled to read that Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will host this year's Golden Globes awards! They are always so great as presenters on all of the other award shows, why not have two brilliant, funny women host the show...GREAT IDEA!

-Caught up on the final installment of the Real Housewives of NJ Reunion. I wasn't really looking forward to it, but I needed to finish it up and end it . The final episode was the worst of the three. I felt very sad for Joe Gorga and his sister. Their children will see that all one day and unfortunately it's nothing to be proud of and nothing to teach your children other what NOT to do, what NOT to say and how NOT to behave. There was one lighter moment though, when Theresa was trying to call Jaqueline Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, it came of her mouth as Heckyle and Jyde...huh??? I hope Bravo and Andy Cohen decide they've had enough of Theresa and Joe Giudice, I know I have and if they're back, I really don't think I'll be watching.

Okay let's just readdress something. I don't watch anything scary. I just don't. I guess technically you could say that The Vampire Diaries and Being Human are sort of scary, but they balance it all out with hot guys with no shirts which takes the scary away for me...but in general, I don't do scary. I tried American Horror Story, I tried True Blood and no...I admit it, I didn't try The Walking Dead. I was going to, but my husband told me I wouldn't like it and it was way too scary for me. So...I apologize that I don't talk about that one at all here. I hope that you don't abandon the blog because of it. That being said...a lot of people obviously do love scary, as the ratings were through the roof for Sunday's premiere...Walking+Dead

Not sure if you guys saw this iPhone skit on SNL the other night...it's hilarious, check it out:

-You guys know I'm really rooting for Connie Britton and Nashville. Sort of a good news bad news thing as the show did great with the Live + 3 numbers. Up an additional 2.7 million viewers making its total delivery a 3.9 RA18-49 with 11.6 million viewers. The bad news is...betting most of those shifters skipped the commercials.

-Congrats to Julie Chen who will probably keep working double duty over on CBS now that her husband has signed on for another 5 years as President and CEO through June 30, 2017. Les Moonves' salary will remain the same but he will continue to be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Moonves currently makes a 69.9 million dollars as the industry's top paid exec. So he's like the A Rod of Television...except he actually comes through in the clutch.

Tuesday's Trivia Question: We all know that Bryan Cranston plays Walter White aka Heisenberg on Breaking Bad, but what was his characters name on Malcolm in the Middle?
