Total marketing and advertising expenditures declined .2 percent in 2011 and are forecast to grow only .7 percent in 2012 according to a new report published this week and available to subscribers at www.jackmyers.com. The big winners among legacy media in 2012 will include local broadcast TV station groups like Gannett, Hearst, Belo, ABC, CBS, NBC, Univision and Fox.
